ABOUT THE OLYMPIAD

Republican Olympiad of a new format in finance, marketing, audit and data science among students and young professionals.

The Olympiad is organised by the ProKG Professionals Club and the Bilimduu Public Foundation. This project has been organised on an annual basis since 2018, during which time 3000 students took part in the Olympiad, of which 100 were employed.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE OLYMPIAD
  • Popularization of financial, economic and information technology education among young people
  • Formation of a favorable environment for interaction between employers and job seekers
  • Identification of talented students and young professionals, and promotion of their employment and internships in the leading companies of the country
  • Contributing to the formation of a new generation of comprehensively developed young people, who are called upon to solve the main economic and social problems of society
  • Stimulating and motivating students and young professionals to self-learning and personal growth
The prize fund of this project in 2024: 2000 USD and the opportunity of internship and practice in the largest companies in Kyrgyzstan.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Participants: young professionals and students from all regions of Kyrgyzstan.
Age restrictions: 18 to 25 years old.
HOW THE PROJECT WORKS
FIRST ROUND
Individual participation and online testing for assessing the basics of disciplines (finance and economics, marketing, auditing and accounting)
SECOND ROUND
Online problem solving of open-ended questions on business cases presented by partner companies. Business cases will be divided into finance and economics, marketing, auditing and accounting.
third round
Team Participation. Offline event where the finalists will have a task to solve the cases set by the companies, develop a product or solution and present it to the jury.
