"Kadam" Project

ASSISTING STUDENTS IN GAINING ADMISSION TO THE WORLD'S TOP UNIVERSITIES

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Kadam is an educational initiative established by the ProKG Professionals Club in collaboration with alumni from the world's leading universities.

The project's mission is to assist talented and outstanding students from the Kyrgyz Republic in gaining admission to top global universities, including Ivy League institutions, for undergraduate studies. This aims to inspire the younger generation to develop and strengthen their potential.

The project offers advisory, technical, and financial support related to exam preparation, assistance with application submissions, and coverage of associated expenses.

The ProKG team, together with graduates from top universities, will provide guidance and support up to the point of university admission.

WHAT THE PROGRAM OFFERS?

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  • Participants: 10th and 11th-grade students
  • Admission target: Undergraduate programs
  • Citizenship: Kyrgyz Republic (or residents of Kyrgyzstan)
  • English proficiency: Upper Intermediate or higher
  • Skills: Strong communication, confidence, self-discipline, and perseverance
  • Commitments: Full participation in all program sessions, a strong desire to learn, and a clear ambition to gain admission to a top university
Preference in selection will be given to candidates with excellent academic performance, strong English proficiency, laureates of national and international Olympiads, and those who have successfully written selection essays. Volunteer experience and other achievements are also welcomed.

PROJECT FOUNDERS

  • ZAMIR AKIMBEKOV
    Zamir Akimbekov is a graduate of METU and the University of California, Davis, specializing in machine learning. He earned a Ph.D. in Statistical Thermodynamics and a Master's degree in Statistics. Zamir has worked as a Senior Data Scientist at McKinsey & Company and, since 2020, has been a manager and expert in machine learning. Recently, he founded an AI startup in the United States.

  • KAINAR KAMALOV
    Kainar Kamalov is an MIT graduate in Computer Science, an awardee of international Olympiads, and an IT specialist. He has worked at Microsoft, Zynga, and the MIT Media Lab. Since 2015, Kainar has been a programmer at the startup B12, focusing on AI development
