"My School" Program

We help pupils and teachers to develop their potential

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

My School - is a program aimed at developing regional schools through career guidance sessions and educational trainings for students and teachers.

WHO IS A CURATOR

A curator is a person who has achieved success in their professional field and is ready to support the new generation of students. They share their experience, give advice, help students choose their path and develop skills, and also contribute to the development of the school, including through financial support and participation in educational initiatives of the "My School" program.

CURATORS OF THE PROGRAM
Each school is accompanied by a curator - a member of the ProKG Club - who coordinates activities on-site and maintains communication with the school throughout the year.

THE PROGRAM IS ORGANIZED IN THREE STAGES:

  • First Stage
    (September-October):
    Participants go through the selection stage of the program and are divided into groups. During this period, students get acquainted with the "My School" program, its opportunities and participation format. Initial motivational meetings are also held with successful specialists - members of the Club of Professionals - who share their experience, talk about their career paths and inspire students to develop and achieve their goals.
  • Second Stage
    (November-April):
    The main stage of the program, during which participants actively attend trainings, complete challenges and participate in various educational and team activities, earning points. Training topics include emotional intelligence, leadership, discipline, adaptation, personal development, modern technologies and professions of the 21st century. Students also get the opportunity to participate in meetings with mentors and representatives of youth organisations.
  • Third Stage (May-June):
    Summer Camp
    At the end of the program, the points earned by participants are counted, and the best students receive vouchers to the "My School" program summer camp. The camp includes educational trainings, team activities, excursions and meetings with youth organisations such as AIESEC, EducationUSA, Rotaract, FLEX and other partners. Participants gain new knowledge, broaden their horizons and develop leadership skills.
Summer camp for ambassadors of the "My School" program
Participants: 100 people (principals, teachers, pedagogues)

Objective: introduction of new educational methods, creation of a unified educational community and improvement of learning quality.

Training topics:
  • Main achievements in education. 
  • School counseling and student support.
  • Legislation in the field of education. 
  • STEAM and the future of professions. 
  • Methods of preparing for olympiads.• Digital skills for teachers in the AI era.

Every year more than 2,000 students and teachers from participating schools in Kyrgyzstan become beneficiaries of ‘My School’.
