Initially, the Club functioned as an informal platform for networking, establishing connections, and exchanging experiences among professionals—citizens of our country who work or study in different parts of the world or in Kyrgyzstan. In its early days, despite significant distances and time differences, Club members communicated online, conducted their first masterclasses and presentations on professional development for students in Kyrgyzstan via Skype conferences, and thus laid the foundation for the ProKG Professionals Club.

Over time, the Club began to attract more members who were eager to share their ideas and international experience with young people—the next generation of Kyrgyzstan. LinkedIn became the key platform where members promoted their initial initiatives and discussed the future development of the organization.

From the very beginning, the initiative to establish the Club was driven by the conceptual idea of creating a professional platform for Kyrgyzstani experts who, through their own achievements and international success stories, could share their experiences and inspire young people.

MY SCHOOL
"My School" is the first project of the organization, launched in 2010.

In the wake of the events that shook the country in 2010, members of the Club frequently discussed the future of Kyrgyzstan and the changes that would affect every citizen. These discussions and exchanges of ideas grew into something more tangible—real action. As a result, they came to the conclusion that meaningful change should start on a small scale, beginning with their own schools. The initiators and first curators of the project were Taalai Nasirdinov, Ruslan Karabukaev, and Azamat Ibraimov. The first school to be mentored under the project was Taalai Nasirdinov's school.

Reflecting on their own journeys to professional success, they realized that at some point in their lives, each of them had encountered someone they admired—someone they wanted to emulate. There was always a model of a better life, quality education, and a successful career. The members of the Club hope that in the near future, they themselves will become role models for young and ambitious students.

This is the core mission of the project: successful and accomplished professionals visit schools in different regions, acting as role models for students, guiding them towards hard work, perseverance, personal growth, and unlocking their full potential. It is evident that the younger generation greatly benefits from such meetings.

Additionally, the project includes financial and other incentives to increase student engagement and foster healthy competition among them.

Club Mission Update

In 2014, the Club initiated an evaluation of its activities and an update of its mission. During a brainstorming session among active members, Emil Umetaliev introduced the "locomotive" concept. He suggested that, given the Club’s small size, it would be unrealistic to support all young people equally. Instead, the focus should be on a specific group of young individuals—leaders—who could drive change more effectively. This idea led to the decision to prioritize young leaders.

As a result, the Club developed a new mission: to create a platform that unites professionals who inspire and guide young leaders. Additionally, the Club emphasized the importance of adhering to its core principles:
  • Apolitical stance
  • Self-financing (no reliance on grants)
  • Focus on education
In February 2015, ProKG was officially registered as a Public Association.
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
In April 2015, the Leadership Program ProKG was launched as the second successful and sustainable educational project of the Club, starting with its first 18 participants.

The program was initially inspired by Nazira Beyshenaliyeva and Cholponbek Jumashukurov. Later, its structure and content were developed in collaboration with Emil Umetaliev, Adilet Dadybaev, Azhara Beyshembayeva, Zarina Chekirbayeva, and Edil Ajibayev.

The Leadership Program ProKG was established with the goal of strengthening the potential of ambitious young individuals with leadership qualities and creating a favorable environment for networking and collaboration with highly qualified professionals. By following the example of these experts, program participants are empowered to become skilled professionals in demand on the international job market, thereby contributing to the development of human capital in Kyrgyzstan.

ENDOWMENT FUND

In October 2015, Nazira Beyshenaliyeva and Cholponbek Jumashukurov initiated the development of the Endowment Fund to establish a long-term foundation for the stable financing of the Club’s activities and its sustainable growth in the long run.
The fund's founding members include: Emil Umetaliev, Gulnara Kalikova, Cholponbek Jumashukurov, Dastan Omuraliev, Nazira Beyshenaliyeva, and Azamat Ibraimov.

For her outstanding contribution to the development of the Club, including the launch of the Leadership Program and the Endowment Fund, Nazira Beyshenaliyeva was unanimously recognized as one of the Club’s founders by all existing founding members.

Merger with the Public Association "Azamat Plus"

In December 2016, ProKG merged with the public association "Azamat Plus." Under the leadership of Aman Tentievand his team, Azamat Plus was also dedicated to supporting the youth of the country. Their "My School" project, aimed at assisting schools, is closely aligned with ProKG Club's "My School" initiative. As a result, the two organizations decided to combine their efforts.
Thanks to this collaboration, the number of schools supported under the "My School" project has reached 29.

FinOlimp

In April 2019, on the initiative of Club member Almaz Edilbaev, the first All-Republican FinOlympiad was held, which is now an annual Olympiad in finance, economics and marketing in Kyrgyzstan. The Olympiad became a platform for introducing young ambitious professionals to potential employers.
KADAM
PROGRAM
Kainar Kamalov and Zamir Akimbekov had the idea to create the Kadam Project in 2021. During their enrolment in top universities around the world, they received invaluable help and support from people who shared their experience and knowledge. This experience inspired Kainar and Zamir to create a project that would help talented students from Kyrgyzstan overcome the challenges of applying to the world's top universities, including the Ivy League.

Joining forces with the ProKG Professionals Club and alumni of top universities, they founded Kadam, a project that provides counselling, technical and financial support to school students. The project aimed to help students at every stage: from preparing for exams and applying to covering the associated costs.

The name ‘Kadam’ symbolises the first step towards a big dream, which becomes a reality thanks to the support of professionals and like-minded people. Kainar and Zamir believed that every talented schoolchild in Kyrgyzstan should have the opportunity to study at the best universities in the world.

ENELER-MARIA

In 2021, Taalai Dzhumabaev, together with his friends Mikhail Leder and Aliya Rysbek, founded the Eneler-Maria project. The idea for the creation arose from the realisation that mothers and teachers are among the most influential figures in society, able to shape the future generation.

The founders saw the need to support and develop these key groups by providing them with access to knowledge and skills that would help not only in their personal growth, but also in the upbringing and education of their children.
Today, ProKG unites more than 110 highly qualified specialists with international experience in such fields as business, investment, banking, medicine, public sector, international economics, audit, IT and telecommunications. We implement our sustainable educational projects and participate in initiatives aimed at achieving our mission - the development of educational and professional potential, as well as personal growth of young people, and thus of Kyrgyzstan as a whole.
